Easy ways to pay

Paying your State Business insurance premium is easy - the choice is yours.

At State, we have a range of payment options available depending on what policies you hold with us.

You can pay:

1. Monthly by direct debit.

  • If you wish to pay monthly, a higher premium is charged than when you pay a lump sum annual premium.
  • For more information on this option refer to the ‘Paying by direct debit’ section below.
Paying by Direct Debit

With Direct Debit, your premium is paid straight from your bank account or credit card.

We will send you a letter letting you know when your Direct Debit payment will start once your Direct Debit Authority has been processed. Please continue to pay your premium in the usual way until you receive this notification.

Please read the terms and conditions on the Direct Debit form, before completing. If you wish to pay by direct debit, a higher premium is charged than when you pay a lump sum annual premium.

2. Annually by cheque, cash, EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard, AMEX or Diners.

    This can be paid by:

  • Mail: Attach your cheque and return it to us at FreePost Authority Number 754, State Business Support Centre, PO Box 3233, Wellington.
