To make a claim on your State Landlord insurance, you’ll need to provide us with information on your property such as:

• what damage has occurred,
• what caused the damage, and
• any steps you may have taken to prevent further damage.

If you suspect the loss or damage was the result of burglary, theft or a malicious act, call the Police immediately. They will give you a form that confirms your loss.  Please keep hold of this form.

The excess you will have to pay

The standard excess is $400. You may have selected a higher voluntary excess in order to receive a premium discount, or have an imposed excess. Please read your policy schedule if you are unsure of your excess or call us on 0800 80 24 24.
