What it Costs

State Roadside Rescue can be yours for just $30 a year with Comprehensive Car Cover – and for that you get two free call outs. Once you use up your two free call outs, you pay $50 for each subsequent one in that insurance year.

State Roadside Rescue

Over 1,000 State Roadside Rescue vehicles are on call 24 hours. Wherever you are, call                0800 10 11 12 to get help for the following:

 

 

  • flat tyre, we’ll fit your spare
  • locked out, we’ll get you into your vehicle
  • run out of fuel, we’ll deliver five free litres of petrol or diesel
  • flat battery, we’ll jump start your vehicle
  • breakdown due to mechanical or electrical failure, we’ll restart your vehicle or tow it to the nearest approved repairer or a safe place.

It doesn’t matter who’s driving the car – State Roadside Rescue applies to the vehicle, not the driver.  Read More.

 

What it Costs

$79 a year with Comprehensive Car Cover.

Hire Car Extension

If your car is stolen or involved in an accident and you cannot drive it, we can arrange a rental car for up to 14 days, free of charge. You just have to pay for the petrol you use.

What it costs

$50 a year with Comprehensive Car Cover.

Windscreen Extension

You can claim for damage to your windscreen or car windows and still keep your no claim discount. Plus you won’t pay any excess if you make a claim on your windscreen.
