You’ll need to provide:

• The details of who was driving your vehicle at the time of the accident (including their driver's licence details)
• The details of any other people (including their insurance details) who may have been involved e.g.
  - The owner and/or driver of the other vehicle
  - The owner of any animal involved
  - The owner of any property damaged

The excess you will have to pay

The excess is the contribution towards the claim that you will have to pay. The standard vehicle excess is $300. Please refer to your policy schedule to check your excess if you are unsure or contact us on 0800 80 24 24 anytime.

Your insurance cover may have an imposed excess which is different due to your personal situation.
