To make a claim on your State Boat insurance, please provide us with all the information you can, such as:

• full details if you are claiming for theft of the boat,
• receipts, photographs, valuations, serial numbers and evidence of ownership if you are claiming for stolen accessories from the boat, and
• full details of the boat and any third party involvement for a claim that involves an accident at sea or on the road.

The excess you will have to pay

The standard excess is $100 or 1% of the amount you have insured the boat for (whichever is higher) although you may have an imposed excess.
