Individual: One person travelling alone or with their dependent children or grandchildren under 21 years old.

OR

Family: Two close family members travelling together or with their dependent children or grandchildren under 21 years old.

Your policy covers:

• 24 hour world-wide assistance
• Unlimited medical cover (while overseas)
• Baggage and personal effects up to $20,000
• Lost travel documents, money or passports
• Disrupted travel e.g. missed connection, travel delay, early return
• Loss of deposits
• Personal liability
• Additional benefits such as rental car excess of $2,500

What’s not covered?

• This policy does not cover Pre-Existing Medical Conditions (this includes pregnancy over 24 weeks). Please call us on 0800 155 777 and we will be happy to consider cover under our Travel Premier insurance policy.  
• This policy does not cover individual items over $1,500. If you require cover for specified items, please call us on 0800 155 777 to arrange cover under our Travel Premier insurance policy.
• This policy does not cover international travel to or from, or staying in any country classified as Extreme Risk by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Find out more.

State Travel Premier insurance is ideal for all travellers that want comprehensive travel insurance, including cover for specified items or pre-existing medical conditions, for their overseas holiday.

Pre-Existing Medical Conditions

The State Travel Premier insurance policy can be extended to cover you for your Pre-Existing Medical Conditions.  If you wish to extend your travel insurance to include cover for Pre-Existing Medical Conditions please call us on 0800 155 777.

What’s not covered?

State Travel Premier insurance does not cover the following:

• childbirth or pregnancy over 24 weeks
• individual items over $1,500 (unless cover is extended to include specified items)
• any professional sporting activities*
• any form of manual employment, including self-employment and volunteer work*
• Travel to or from, or staying in any country classified as Extreme Risk by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Find out more.
