The water. We’re surrounded by it. Whatever the season, Kiwis just love having fun in, on and around the water. And because what’s important to you is important to us, State is the proud sponsor of the State NZ Ocean Swim Series.
The 2011/2012 season of the State NZ Ocean Swim Series, one of the biggest seasons to date, has come to an end with nearly 6,000 people taking part in the various swims.
12,906kms were swum over the six events – that’s equivalent to driving from Cape Reinga to the Bluff more than six times, including a 96.8km swim across the Cook Strait (from Wellington to Picton)!
