1. The Monthly Flybuys Promotion (“10,000 Flybuys Draw”) is conducted by State, a business division of IAG New Zealand Limited (“State”), NZI Centre, 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010. The following terms and conditions apply to the promotion.
  2. By participating in this promotion, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  3. The promotion is open to State Business customers who have received an email from State offering this promotion, and are residents of New Zealand who are 18 years of age or over as at the beginning of the 10,000 Flybuys Promotion Period. Employees of IAG New Zealand Limited and their immediate families are ineligible to participate in the promotions.

10,000 Flybuys Promotion

  1. To enter the 10,000 Flybuys Draw, entrants must complete the steps described in the email offering this promotion. If you’re not already registered with Flybuys, or your Flybuys account is not linked to your State account, you’ll need to first register Flybuys and/or link the accounts (as the case may be).
  2. The Prize is 10,000 Flybuys (“Prize”).
  3. Entries that are incomplete or are not submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions will be ineligible.
  4. The 10,000 Flybuys Promotion is open to you from the date you receive the email inviting you to participate in the promotion, and closes 21 days after that (“10,000 Flybuys Promotion Period”). One prize winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries 6 weeks after the Promotion Period ends (or such later date as is required by State (“Prize Draw”). The prize winner will be contacted by State within one week of the Prize Draw (or such later date as required by State) by phone or email. If a winner has not responded to State within 5 working days of being contacted then State can at its discretion: (a) deem the prize winner to have forfeited their right to the Prize; and (b) re-draw another eligible prize winner in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  5. Each month a new 10,000 Flybuys Promotion will begin. IAG reserves the right to terminate the promotion at any time. There is only one entry in total allowed per entrant and each entrant can win a maximum of one Prize.
  6. The Prize is the sole responsibility of the winner. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The Prize must be taken as stated in these terms and conditions and no compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the Prize as stated or if the Prize is lost or stolen.
  7. Any Flybuys won through this promotion will automatically be converted into the Reward Currency selected for the winning Flybuys Account at the time of processing.

  9. State will not be required to provide any person with a Prize where, in State’s sole discretion:
    1. that person is not (or is no longer) eligible; or
    2. State is unable to contact the person to arrange Prize collection after using reasonable endeavours.


  1. State reserves the right to discontinue, extend or amend this promotions at any time without notice to any person for any reason.
  2. State's decision on any matter regarding this promotions will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  3. State's underwriting criteria, policy terms and conditions apply.
  4. State and its related bodies corporate will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the promotions or any Prize or Reward. State will not be responsible for any lost or stolen Prize or Reward, including if any Prize or Reward goes missing after the Prize or Reward is dispatched for delivery to the recipient.
  5. State takes no responsibility for any misdirected, lost, incomplete, damaged, corrupted, incorrectly submitted or late entries, or any human error, technical malfunctions, lost or delayed data transmission, computer or network failure, or any other interruption that may affect the conduct of this promotions.


  1. State may use and disclose participants’ personal information to State’s agents or contractors for the purposes of conducting this promotions and for marketing and promotional purposes. Participants have the right to access and correct their personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 by contacting State in writing at 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland or by calling 0800 80 24 24.
  2. Participants agree that State is entitled to use their name, contact details and photographs for State external and internal marketing, promotion, communication and publicity purposes in connection with the promotions.
