1. The New Policy Promotion (“1,000 Flybuys Promotion”) is conducted by State, a business division of IAG New Zealand Limited (“State”), NZI Centre, 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010. The following terms and conditions apply to this promotion.
  2. By participating in this promotion, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  3. The promotion is open to State Business customers who have received an email from State offering this promotion, and are residents of New Zealand who are 18 years of age or over as at the beginning of the 10,000 Flybuys Promotion Period. Employees of IAG New Zealand Limited and their immediate families are ineligible to participate in the promotions.

1,000 Flybuys Promotion

  1. To be eligible for the 1,000 Flybuys (“Reward”) entrants must:
    1. have received an email from State offering this promotion;
    2. purchased a new State Statutory Liability and/or Public Liability policy (“Qualifying Policy”) in the business’s name; and
    3. complete the steps described in the email offering this promotion.
    The renewal or cancelling and then repurchasing of an existing policy (as determined by State in its sole discretion) does not qualify as purchasing a Qualifying Policy.
  2. The 1,000 Flybuys Promotion commences on the date you receive the email from State offering this promotion and ends 14 days after that (“1,000 Flybuys Promotion Period”).
  3. Any Flybuys won through this promotion will automatically be converted into the Reward Currency selected for the winning Flybuys Account at the time of processing.
  4. Flybuys membership and Reward Currency terms and conditions apply. Please see flybuys.co.nz.
  5. Flybuys will be distributed 6 weeks after the 1,000 Flybuys Promotion Period (or such a later date required by State). Reward will automatically be transferred into the Flybuys account registered with State that is associated with the business’s name which received State’s Tradies Liability email communication.
  6. Each eligible participant who has:
    1. met all payment requirements under a Qualifying Policy (including making at least one payment on the Qualifying Policy before the end of the 1,000 Flybuys Promotion Period); and;
    2. not cancelled their Qualifying Policy,
    3. will qualify for the 1,000 Flybuys Reward.
  7. A participant can only receive one Reward for this promotion.
  8. For the avoidance of doubt, State will not be obliged to provide any Reward to any person where the conditions set out in these terms and conditions have not been met.
  9. The Rewards are not transferable, not refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

General

  1. State reserves the right to discontinue, extend or amend this promotions at any time without notice to any person for any reason.
  2. State's decision on any matter regarding this promotions will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  3. State's underwriting criteria, policy terms and conditions apply.
  4. State and its related bodies corporate will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the promotions or any Prize or Reward. State will not be responsible for any lost or stolen Prize or Reward, including if any Prize or Reward goes missing after the Prize or Reward is dispatched for delivery to the recipient.
  5. State takes no responsibility for any misdirected, lost, incomplete, damaged, corrupted, incorrectly submitted or late entries, or any human error, technical malfunctions, lost or delayed data transmission, computer or network failure, or any other interruption that may affect the conduct of this promotions.

Privacy

  1. State may use and disclose participants’ personal information to State’s agents or contractors for the purposes of conducting this promotions and for marketing and promotional purposes. Participants have the right to access and correct their personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 by contacting State in writing at 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland or by calling 0800 80 24 24.
  2. Participants agree that State is entitled to use their name, contact details and photographs for State external and internal marketing, promotion, communication and publicity purposes in connection with the promotions.
