Colour in the Chaos is a marketing campaign conducted by State Insurance (“State”), a business division of IAG New Zealand Limited (“IAG”), 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010, New Zealand. The following terms and conditions apply to the Colour in the Chaos marketing campaign where participants have the chance to have their ‘stay at home chaos’ photo selected to be turned into a colouring in page which will be shared on State’s Instagram account as well as other channels owned by State (“Colour in the Chaos”).

Colour in the Chaos commences on Thursday 2 April 2020 and will end on a date to be determined by State.
How to participate
To participate in Colour in the Chaos you:
must share your ‘stay at home chaos’ photo on Instagram and tag stateinsurancenz or send a direct message to stateinsurancenz via Instagram;
agree that by posting your ‘stay at home chaos’ photo to Colour in the Chaos, you consent to the photo being used by State in Colour in the Chaos in accordance with these terms and conditions, including for the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of clause 9 and 10;
must upload your coloured in pictures to your Instagram Story and tag stateinsurancenz; and
must read and understand these terms and conditions.
Only photos submitted via State’s Instagram will be accepted for Colour in the Chaos. No other mediums, channels or communications will be accepted.
Photo submissions must only contain content that is suitable and appropriate for a general audience. For instance, content must not contain images of dangerous activities or activities that are not compliant with COVID-19 Alert Level 4. Any post to Colour in the Chaos must also not contain any objectionable, indecent, obscene or inappropriate images or words. State has the sole discretion to determine whether or not a post meets these requirements and may, in its sole discretion, reject and/or remove any post that does not meet these requirements.
Colour in the Chaos selection criteria
By participating in Colour in the Chaos you understand that there is 1 (one) photo a day for a period of time determined by State that will be selected and turned into colouring in pages and shared on State’s social, web and other channels. State makes no guarantees or representations that any photo you submit will be turned into a colouring in page and / or featured on social, web or other State channels. Photos that have been tagged stateinsurancenz on Instagram or sent as a direct message to stateinsurancenz via Instagram for Colour in the Chaos will undergo a moderation and selection process by State to ensure photos abide by the criteria set out in clause 6.
State has sole discretion as to which photos will be selected and turned into colouring in pages and which channels they are shared in. Any selection decision made by State is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
By participating in Colour in the Chaos and by uploading your photos you agree that your content can be used in the Colour in the Chaos campaign. This includes your ‘stay at home chaos’ photo being shared on social, web and internal channels owned by State. Your consent includes agreement that your photo remains the copyright of State. Should you wish to revoke your consent you may contact State via email at email@example.com. State will make every effort to remove content depicting your photo within 5 (five) working days of receiving this correspondence and State will contact you to confirm details of the removal of the content.
State, at its sole discretion, may terminate, withdraw or amend Colour in the Chaos or any aspect of Colour in the Chaos at any time. State will only do this where it considers it is reasonable to do so.
State's decision on any matter regarding Colour in the Chaos will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
State takes no responsibility for any misdirected, lost, incomplete, damaged, corrupted, incorrectly submitted or late entries, or any human error, technical malfunctions, lost or delayed data transmission, computer or network failure, or any other interruption that may affect the conduct of Colour in the Chaos unless that fault is caused by State.
Subject to any obligations under law, such as under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986, State and its related bodies corporate will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with Colour in the Chaos.
