Terms and Conditions
The State Fly Buys Never too busy for rewards offer – 250 Bonus Points (“Promotion”) is conducted by State, a business division of IAG New Zealand Limited, 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010 (“State”).
Information on how to enter the Promotion and about the Reward forms part of these terms and conditions. By participating in the Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The Promotion commences on 12 July 2019 at 9am and closes at 11.59pm on 31 July 2019 (“Promotion Period”).
The Promotion is open to a new State customer who:
is a resident of New Zealand and is aged 18 years and over, and has received the email about the Promotion from Fly Buys, or is a member on the email recipient’s Fly Buys account;
during the Promotion Period purchases a new State car, home, or contents policy (“Qualifying Policy”);
has a registered Fly Buys card number linked to their Qualifying Policy at the time that they make the purchase in clause 4(b) and provides the Fly Buys number provided on the promotional email that they received at the time of the purchase;
makes at least one payment on their Qualifying Policy by 11 September 2019.
The renewal or cancelling and then repurchasing of an existing policy (as determined by State in its sole discretion) does not qualify as purchasing a Qualifying Policy under clause 4(b).
Eligible Customers will receive 250 bonus Fly Buys points (“Reward”) for each Qualifying Policy purchased (subject to clause 9 below).
The Reward will be awarded to the Fly Buys account linked to the Qualifying Policy by 25 September 2019 (or such later date as is required by State).
The Reward is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
An Eligible Customer can claim Rewards on a maximum of six (6) Qualifying Policies (ie (1,500 Fly Buys bonus points).
State underwriting criteria, policy terms and conditions apply.
State reserves the right to terminate or amend any aspect of this Promotion without notice at any time.
State and its related bodies corporate will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the Promotion.
State is not responsible or liable for any Eligible Customer’s inability to use his/her Reward.
Information collected will be securely held by State, 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010. State may contact any or all participants for the purpose of the Promotion generally and for marketing and promotional purposes. State may disclose participants’ personal information to Loyalty New Zealand Limited, its Fly Buys partners, contractors and agents in the course of conducting this Promotion and for marketing and promotional purposes. All participants have the right to access and correct their personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993 by contacting State in writing at the address above or telephoning us on 0800 80 24 24.
