1. The 10,000 Fly Buys Bonus Points Prize Draw (“Fly Buys Prize Draw”) and the $100 Z Petrol Gift Card Giveaway (“Z Petrol Giveaway”) are conducted by State Business, a business division of IAG New Zealand Limited (“State”), NZI Centre, 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010. The following terms and conditions apply to the promotions.
  2. By participating in these promotions, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  3. The promotions commence on Tuesday 19 November and end on Monday 9 December 2019 (“Promotion Period”).
  4. The promotions are open to residents of New Zealand who are 18 years of age or over as at Tuesday 19 November. Employees of IAG New Zealand Limited and their immediate families are ineligible to participate in the promotions.

Fly Buys Prize Draw

  1. State are giving one entry in to the draw to win 10,000 Fly Buys Bonus Points to eligible participants, for each new State Business policy purchased in their own/or business name during the Promotion Period (“Qualifying Policy”). Subject to clause 14, multiples of the same type of policy will qualify for an entry in to the Fly Buys Prize Draw. The renewal or cancelling and then repurchasing of an existing policy (as determined by State in its sole discretion) does not qualify as purchasing a Qualifying Policy. Each eligible participant who has:
    1. met all payment requirements under a Qualifying Policy (including making at least one payment on the Qualifying Policy before Friday 10 January); and;
    2. not cancelled their Qualifying Policy, will qualify for an entry into the Fly Buys Prize Draw.
  2. Entries that are incomplete or are not submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions will be ineligible.
  3. The Prize is 10,000 Fly Buys Bonus Points (“Prize”). Terms and conditions apply to the Prize, please see clause 10.
  4. One prize winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries on Tuesday 14 January 2020 (or such later date as is required by State) (“Prize Draw”).
  5. The prize winner will be contacted by State by Wednesday 15 January 2020 (or such later date as required by State). If a winner has not responded to State within 2 working days of being contacted then State can at its discretion: (a) deem the prize winner to have forfeited their right to the Prize; and (b) re-draw another eligible prize winner in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  6. The Prize will be awarded to the Fly Buys account linked to the Qualifying Policy by Friday 17 January 2020 (or such later date as is required by State). To be eligible to win the prize winner’s Fly Buys account must be up to date (including a phone number). Fly Buys Membership Terms and Conditions apply and can be viewed at flybuys.co.nz. For the avoidance of doubt, State will not be obliged to award any Prize to any person where the conditions set out in these terms and conditions have not been met. The Prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. State is not responsible or liable for any prize winner’s inability to use their Reward.
  7. State will not be required to provide any person with a Prize where, in State’s sole discretion:
    1. that person is not (or is no longer) eligible; or
    2. State is unable to contact the person to arrange Prize collection after using reasonable endeavours.

Z Petrol Giveaway

  1. State is offering eligible participants a $100 Z Petrol Gift Card (“Reward”), redeemable at Z Energy Service Stations for each new State Business policy purchased in their own/or business name during the Promotion Period (“Qualifying Policy”). Subject to clause 14, multiples of the same type of policy will qualify for the Z Petrol Giveaway. The renewal or cancelling and then repurchasing of an existing policy (as determined by State in its sole discretion) does not qualify as purchasing a Qualifying Policy.
  2. Each eligible participant who has:
    1. met all payment requirements under a Qualifying Policy (including making at least one payment on the Qualifying Policy before Friday 10 January 2020); and;
    2. not cancelled their Qualifying Policy,
    will qualify for the Z Petrol Giveaway.
  3. The maximum number of Rewards an eligible participant can receive is 3 Rewards, with a total value of $300.
  4. The Reward(s) will be couriered to the recipient’s designated postal address by Friday 31 January 2020. For the avoidance of doubt, State will not be obliged to send any Reward(s) to any person where the conditions set out in these terms and conditions have not been met.
  5. The Rewards are not transferable, not refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Entries that are incomplete or are not submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions will be ineligible. General

  1. State reserves the right to discontinue, extend or amend these promotions at any time. State will only do this where it considers it is reasonable to do so.
  2. State’s decision on any matter regarding these promotions will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  3. State’s underwriting criteria, policy terms and conditions apply.
  4. Subject to any obligations under law, such as under the Consumer Guarantees Act or the Fair Trading Act, State and its related bodies corporate will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the promotions or any Prize or Reward. State will not be responsible for any lost or stolen Prize or Reward, including if any Prize or Reward goes missing after the Prize or Reward is dispatched for delivery to the recipient.
  5. State takes no responsibility for any misdirected, lost, incomplete, damaged, corrupted, incorrectly submitted or late entries, or any human error, technical malfunctions, lost or delayed data transmission, computer or network failure, or any other interruption that may affect the conduct of these promotions.

Privacy

  1. State may use and disclose participants’ personal information to State’s agents or contractors for the purposes of conducting these promotions. Participants have the right to access and correct their personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993 by contacting State in writing at 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland or by calling 0800 80 24 24.
  2. Participants agree that State is entitled to use their name, contact details and photographs for State’s external and internal marketing, promotion, communication and publicity purposes in connection with the promotions.
