The State Samsung Tablet Monthly Draw Promotion (“Promotion”) is conducted by State, a business division of IAG New Zealand Limited (“State”), NZI Centre, 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010.
By participating in this Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The Promotion commences on 12.01am 25 June 2018 and ends at 11.59pm on 31 December 2018 (“Promotion Period”).
The Promotion is open to residents of New Zealand who are over 16 years of age or over as at 25 June 2018 and as at 25 June 2018 who have:
not registered for My State or set their preference for whether they receive insurance documents by email or post; or
registered for My State but have not set their preference for whether they receive insurance documents by email or post; or
set their preference for whether they receive insurance documents by email or post but not registered for My State.
Employees of IAG New Zealand Limited and their immediate family are ineligible to participate in the Promotion.
To enter the Promotion, entrants must, during the Promotion Period, register for My State and/or set a preference for whether they receive insurance documents by email or post. Customers will receive one entry for registering for My State and one entry for setting their document preference.
Entrants will be entered into the Prize Draw only for the relevant month in which they register for My State and/or set their preference for whether they receive insurance documents by email or post. In the event that they register for My State and set their preference in different months during the Promotion Period, the entrant will receive separate entries into each relevant month.
Entries that are incomplete or are not submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions will be ineligible.
Prize and Prize Draw
The Prize is six Samsung Galaxy Tab A Tablets (“Prize”) with one Prize drawn per month in accordance with paragraph 9. The Recommended Retail Price is $379.00.
The first Prize Draw shall take place on 14 August 2018 and one (1) prize winner shall be drawn at random from all eligible entries for the period from 25 June 2018 to 31 July 2018. For subsequent draws, one (1) prize winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries for the relevant month on the 14th working day of the next month (or such later date as is required by State) (“Prize Draw”).
The prize winner will be contacted by State by the 15th working day of each month (or such later date as required by State) by phone or email. If a winner has not responded to State within five (5) working days of being contacted or has communicated to State that they do not want the Prize then State can at its discretion:
deem the prize winner to have forfeited their right to the Prize; and
re-draw another eligible prize winner in accordance with these terms and conditions.
The prize winner will be couriered the Prize within seven (7) working days of notification of their win. The Prize is the sole responsibility of the winner. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. State will not be liable to any person for any damage caused to the Prize, or if the Prize is lost or goes missing, after the Prize is dispatched for delivery to the prize winner.
State will not be required to provide any person with a Prize where, in State’s sole discretion that person is not (or is no longer) eligible.
State reserves the right to discontinue, extend or amend this Promotion, including to re-schedule any Prize Draw, at any time without notice to any person, for any reason.
State’s decision on any matter regarding this Promotion will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
State and its related bodies corporate will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the Promotion or any Prize. State will not be responsible for any lost or stolen Prize.
State takes no responsibility for any misdirected, lost, incomplete, damaged, corrupted, incorrectly submitted or late entries, or any human error, technical malfunctions, lost or delayed data transmission, computer or network failure, or any other interruption that may affect the conduct of this Promotion.
State may use and disclose entrants’ personal information to State’s agents or contractors for the purposes of conducting this Promotion and for marketing and promotional purposes. Entrants have the right to access and correct their personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993 by contacting State in writing at 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland or by calling 0800 80 24 24.
Entrants agree that if they win the Prize then State is entitled to use their name, contact details and photographs for State external and internal marketing, promotion, communication and publicity purposes in connection with the Promotion.
